How to refer patients

AposTherapy is available at Bupa Centres in London’s West End and Reading and is not limited to Bupa patients. Patients can be referred to our centres for a free initial, no-obligation consultation by one of the following options:

In addition, please give your patient an AposTherapy referral form (available upon request) with useful information concerning the initial consultation.

Patient Journey

During the initial consultation, patients will experience our state-of the- art computerised gait lab, complete pain, joint–function and QoL assessment, and will be interviewed and examined by an AposTherapist. Those who qualify for AposTherapy, will then receive an individually calibrated biomechanical system, together with a personalised therapy programme that fits with their existing daily routine; this helps to ensure optimal compliance and treatment outcomes.

Clinical Reporting To Healthcare Practitioners

Once a patient becomes an AposTherapy member we will of course take care of all booking, administration and follow up under our pathway of care approach.  In addition for each patient referred to us, you’ll receive a report indicating the outcome of the initial consultation including a summary of findings from the gait analysis and clinical assessments. We’ll also continue to update you on your patient’s progress after follow-up consultations.  These reports also provide you with an excellent tool to use in discussion with patients to objectively show them the benefits of the treatment and help strengthen your patient relationships.
